ASTM A240 410 steel is a kind of martensitic stainless steel. ASTM A240 410 steel can achieve relatively high strength, toughness and corrosion resistance after appropriate heat treatment. ASTM A240 410 steel machine ability is also excellent.

Heat treatment of ASTM A240 410 steel plates/sheets/round bars:
1. Annealing: Annealing temperature is 800~900℃. Slow cooling.
2. Quenching: Quenching temperature is 950~1000℃. Oil cooling.
3. Tempering: Tempering temperature is 700~750℃. Rapid cooling.

Corrosion resistance of ASTM A240 410 steel plates/sheets/round bars:
ASTM A240 410 has a certain corrosion resistance in dilute nitric acid or weak organic acid at room temperature.
