EN10025-6 S890Q super high strength steel is a kind of low alloy high strength steel whose properties are much higher than those of common marine steel plate. On the basis of low carbon, alloying elements are added to improve permeability to obtain the mixed structure of low carbon martensite and upper bainite, which has high carbon equivalent. Its welding has the main characteristics of hot crack, cold crack, hardening tendency and hydrogen-induced crack sensitivity, and its weldability is comparatively poor.
