JISG4304/4312 SUS316 stainless steel is produced in the form of hot rolled stainless steel plates, sheets and strips. SUS316 steel grade is austenitic series stainless steel designed under JIS G4304. Katalor can produce and supply SUS316 stainless steel plates and SUS316 stainless steel sheets with large quantity.
JIS G4304/4312 SUS316 stainless steel can be used for pipes and furnace parts, muffles, heat exchangers, retorts, elbows, headers exhaust systems, electrodes of ignition spark plugs, welding machines and containers of chemical engineering, operating at t from -196 to 600°C in media active substance.

JIS G4304/4312 SUS316 stainless steel manufacturing
JIS G4304/4312 SUS316 stainless steel plates and strips shall be heat treated after hot-rolling and given acid pickling or an equivalent treatment. As required, leveling, grinding or a combination of these treatments may be performed. Treatments such as acid pickling to be performed after heat treatment may be omitted upon agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer.
