JIS G4304/4312 SUS 304 stainless steel plates and strips shall be heat treated after hot-rolling and given acid pickling or an equivalent treatment. As required, leveling, grinding or a combination of these treatments may be performed. Treatments such as acid pickling to be performed after heat treatment may be omitted upon agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer.
