JIS G4304/4312 SUS 301 stainless steel plates and strips shall be heat treated after hot-rolling and given acid pickling or an equivalent treatment. As required, leveling, grinding or a combination of these treatments may be performed. Treatments such as acid pickling to be performed after heat treatment may be omitted upon agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer.

UT (Ultrasonic examination), AR(As Hot Rolled only), CR(Cold rolled only) N (Normalized), Q+T (Quenched and Tempered), Polish, Pickling, Solution Treatment (Solid Solution), Annealing, The Third Party Test (Such as SGS Test). Classification society inspection include (ABS,CCS,NK,KR,DNV,BV,LR,GL,RINA)
