JIS G3114 SMA400AP steel is a weather resistant steel created by alloying copper, chromium and nickel. SMA400AP grade steel has added phosphorous which makes the material best suited for gas flue applications and for aesthetic facias. SMA400AP steel plate is intended for welded, bolted or riveted construction of bridges and other structures where high strength and enhanced corrosion resistance are required.
JIS G3114 standard specifies hot rolled atmospheric corrosion resisting steels for bridges, architecture and other welded structure.
Main Grades: SMA400AP, SMA400AW, SMA400BP, SMA400BW, SMA400CP, SMA400CW, SMA490AP, SMA490AW, SMA490BP, SMA490BW
Steel products with W shall be non-coated or stabilized before use. Steel products with P shall be coated before use.
Available: plates, strips, sections, and steel flats
