EN 10225 S420G1+M offshore steel plate is mainly used in steel structures.This steel standard specification S420 includes four different steel grades S420G1+QT,S420G1+M,S420G2+QT and S420G2+M.They have owned different chemical composition and mechanical property. Offshore steel plate S420G1+M owned the minimum yield strength at 420Mpa,and the tensile strength shall be above 500 Mpa.TMCP heat treatment is necessary for steel plate S420G1+M for any thickness when rolling.
