GB713 15CrMoR steel is a alloy pressure vessel steel with specified elevated temperature properties. The grades of molybdenum steel (Mo steel) and chromium molybdenum steel (Cr-Mo steel) are denoted by the average carbon content, alloy element letter and the capital letter of Chinese characters “R” pressure vessel (Rong), for instance, 15CrMoR.
Standard: GB 713-2014

Main steel grades: q245r, Q345R, Q370R, 15CrMoR, 18MnMoNbR, 14Cr1MoR, 13MnNiMoR, 12Cr1MoVR

Use: steel plates for boilers and pressure vessels

Generally, GB713 15CrMoR structural steel products shall be delivered in hot rolling, controlled rolling or normalizing condition.

15CrMoR steel plates can be delivered by theoretical weight. When delivered by theoretical weight, the theoretical thickness for weight calculation is the sum of permissible maximum thickness of steel plate plus the airthmetic average of the minimum thickness. The 15CrMoR steel plate density is 7.85g/cm³ for calculations.
