ASTM A283Grade B under ASTM A283 standard. A283Grade B is considered as Low and Intermediate Tensile Strength Carbon Steel Plate. When the steel is to be welded, a welding procedure suitable for the grade of steel and intended use or service is to be utilized. A283 Grade B material is Low and Intermediate Tensile Strength Carbon Steel Plate. A283 Grade B steel's mechanical property is yield strength 185 MPa, tensile strength 345-450MPa,elongation is minimum 25%(in 8") .Tolerance Standard shall be carried out according to ASTM A36.
