Z direction performance of A36 steel plate
Z-direction performance is the performance in the thickness direction of the steel plate, also known as lamellar tear-resistant steel, and the Z-direction performance steel is expressed in A36-Z15, A36-Z25, A36-Z35, or A36Z15, A36Z25, A36Z35. Lamellar tear-resistant steel is often used for stress in the thickness direction, or for key parts such as load-bearing in the thickness direction. The Z-direction performance implements the standard GB5313, which is suitable for steel plates between 15mm-300mm thickness, and the Z-direction performance of the steel plate has included American Standard A578C Class flaw detection.
A36 steel plate has high strength and toughness, so A36 steel plate is often used in mechanical equipment and precision machinery manufacturing, as well as precision parts processing.
A36 steel plate has high toughness and can be used to make pipes or coils.
The production thickness of A36 steel plate is between 8mm-500mm. A36 steel plate is often used for cutting large parts, or for large mechanical equipment, welded structural parts, etc.
