Why should weather resistant steel be oxidized

Weather resistant steel has better performance than ordinary steel, and corrosion resistance is a very important technical support point for weather resistant steel. In the production process of weather resistant steel, oxidation treatment is required to enhance corrosion resistance.

Oxide coating treatment (single layer or double layer) is to pretreat the steel base. By adding oxide (such as manganese dioxide) pigments and additives that promote rusting in the hydrophobic vehicle and brushing, an organic film can be formed on the surface of weather resistant steel. This layer of film can prevent the rust liquid from sagging, and the organic film will disappear after a stable rust layer is formed on the surface of weather resistant steel. In a relatively harsh environment, the rust layer of weather resistant steel can be increased to alleviate the impact of the environment on the weather resistant steel, and effectively prevent the environment from corroding the substrate.
