What electrode is used for Q235NH steel?

When welding Q235NH steel, you can choose THJ506NH fire-resistant and weather-resistant steel special alkaline electrode.
Purpose: This welding rod is a special welding rod matched with LWFR490 fire-resistant dao weathering steel. It is mainly used for welding of high-rise steel structures, bridges and other important structures that require fire and weather resistance.

Features: THJ506NH is a low-hydrogen potassium type alkaline low-alloy fire-resistant and weathering steel electrode. Both AC and DC can be used for all positions welding. Excellent welding performance, stable arc, small spatter, easy slag removal, beautiful weld shape. The weld metal has the same fire and weather resistance properties as LWFR490 fire and weathering steel.
Welding position: PA, PB, PC, PD, PE, PF

Q235NH steel welding precautions:

1. The electrode must be baked at 380-400℃ for 1 hour before welding, and used as it is baked.
2. The rust, oil stains, moisture and other impurities on the weldments must be removed before welding.
3. Short arc operation must be used when welding, and the swing range should not be too large, and narrow bead welding is appropriate.
4. In order to prevent arc strike air holes, the strike arc plate should be used to strike the arc or the arc strike return method should be used for welding.
