Compared with 15CrMo steel, 15CrMoG steel have a letter G in the name. The G in 15CrMoG steel means boiler and high pressure. 15CrMoG steel usually refers to the seamless steel pipe, while 15CrMo belongs to alloy structural steel.
The differences between 15CrMoG steel and 15CrMo steel is the production and implementation standards. The implementation standard of 15CrMoG steel is GB/T5310-2018, which belongs to the implementation standard of high-pressure seamless steel pipes. The use environment of 15CrMoG steel is high-temperature, high-pressure, boiler and other pipe and fitting standards. The implementation standard of 15CrMo steel is generally GB/T8163. This standard is suitable for ordinary fluid steel pipes and cannot bear pressure.
