structural carbon steel plate --- ASTM A36

ASTM A36 is a structural carbon steel for construction and bridge building that meets the requirements of ASTM A36/A36M.

Its relative products are round rod steel, angle bar, and steel sections such as I-Beams, H-beams, angles, and channels. Hot rolled ASTM A36 has rough surface on the final product, it’s easy for further processing like machining.

ASTM A36 steel can be manufactured into various structural steel parts, it is vastly used in many different industries for a variety of applications such as the construction of buildings, bridges and other structures by means of welding, bolting riveting.

Why choose ASTM A36?
It provide good mechanical property and cost less.

ASTM A36 is a steel product with a low carbon content of less than 0.3%, which is quite flexible and easy to form, process and weld. Heat treatment has less effect on ASTM A36 steel material. It contains some other elements including alloy element: manganese, sulfur, phosphorus and silicon. Iron and these elements together forms unique mechanical property of ASTM A36.
