S460M steel plate is a European standard thermomechanical rolled weldable fine grain structure steel plate. "S" in the S460M grade indicates that the steel is a structural steel, "460" indicates that the minimum yield strength of the steel is 460Mpa when the thickness is less than or equal to 16mm, and "M" indicates the delivery status of the steel.
The technical standard implemented by S460M steel plate is EN10025-4 standard.
S460M steel plate shall be delivered in the state of thermomechanical rolling; the steel plate shall be delivered in shear or flame cut.
S460 steel is divided into two grades according to different impacts, which are: the specified minimum value of impact energy when the temperature is not lower than -20°C, denoted by M, that is, S460M; the specified minimum value of impact energy when the temperature is not lower than -50°C Value, expressed in ML, namely S460ML.
