The bogie is one of the core components of the EMU. It integrates the functions of bearing, traction, buffering, steering and braking, and the frame is the foundation of the bogie, which bears and transmits various forces and loads. At present, some EMU frames in my country are manufactured using S355J2W(H) low-alloy weathering steel sheets. This kind of steel plate has good mechanical properties and weather resistance. It is based on the S355J2W hot-rolled steel plate produced by the Institute of Metal Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Europe. Based on the laboratory research results and the actual situation of my country's production enterprises, it is a steering structure for my country's EMUs. A new steel grade developed for frame materials has been used in large quantities in OEMs.
