The Q550 has different levels of steel plate representation. The effect of grade D steel plate is 20°C. The impact of grade E steel plate is 40°C. The effect of grade C steel plate is 0°C.
Grade A of Q550 steel plate does not require impact toughness test;
Q550 steel plate B grade is subjected to impact toughness test at room temperature (20°C);
Q550 steel plate C grade for 0 ℃ impact toughness test;
-20℃ impact toughness test for Q550 steel plate D grade;
Q550 steel plate is used for impact toughness test at -40℃.
The impact toughness test uses a Charpy V-notch specimen. The impact toughness index is Akv.
