Q500D steel plate production and cutting process

Q500D steel plate belongs to low-alloy high-strength structural steel plate. Q stands for structural steel, 500 stands for thickness ≤ 50mm and the minimum yield strength is 500MPa, and D stands for steel plate quality grade. Q500D steel plate is delivered in the normalized state by default, and can be delivered in normalizing, tempering, tmcp, hot rolling and other technical processes according to different needs.

Production Process
Primary refining → LF refining → VD treatment → continuous casting (die casting) → cleaning, heating → rolling → (stacking) → surface inspection → batching → flaw detection → heat treatment → cutting and sampling → performance inspection.

cutting process
After the factory inspection of Q500D steel plate, the performance indicators meet the requirements, and the cutting process can be carried out. It can be cut and processed and the drawing can be cut. Generally, when the thickness of the steel plate is not greater than 20mm, it is preferred to use CNC plasma cutting or CNC laser cutting. If the thickness of the steel plate is greater than 30mm or more , usually choose CNC flame cutting, which can control the cutting accuracy and time.

Q500D steel plate can be used to manufacture workshops, general construction and various construction machinery, such as drilling rigs, electric wheel dump trucks, mining cars, excavators, loaders, coal mine hydraulic supports and other mechanical equipment and other structures for mining and various engineering construction pieces.
