Q345E steel is a low-alloy high-strength steel plate. Q345E steel has good low temperature impact properties.
Q stands for yield strength; 345 stands for yield strength value in MPa; E stands for grade (through -40 degree impact test).
When the steel plate is required to have the performance in the thickness direction, a symbol representing the performance level in the thickness direction (Z direction) is added to the steel grade, for example: Q345EZ15.
When heat treatment requirements are required, such as normalizing, the steel grade is suffixed with N, which is usually represented by +N, for example: Q345E+N.
