After the surface of the stainless steel plate is treated by grinding and polishing, its surface can be like a mirror, reflecting the object, which is commonly known as the mirror 6K plate.
The 6K mirror panel has corrosion resistance, and the mirror panel can also be processed by processes such as color plating and etching. It is mainly used in various decorations or metal optical products.
The corrosion resistance of stainless steel plate mainly depends on its alloy composition (chromium, nickel, titanium, silicon and manganese, etc.) and internal structure, among which chromium element plays a decisive role, which can be used in steel. A passivation film is formed on the surface, which isolates the metal from the outside world, thereby hindering oxidation and enhancing the corrosion resistance of the stainless steel plate.
The "6" in the 6K mirror stainless steel plate refers to the proportion of alloy components. Taking 304 stainless steel plate as an example, the "6" value is the content of nickel; and "K" refers to the stainless steel plate after polishing. The level of reflectivity that can be achieved (K level is the level of specular reflection), so the 6K mirror panel is also the level of mirror reflected by the chrome-nickel alloy.
