Hegang Shigang's large bar line has successfully produced the largest diameter (100mm) spring steel in China.
The product has now passed the inspection of a well-known high-end equipment manufacturing enterprise in China, and its key performance indicators such as fatigue resistance and corrosion resistance are better than imported materials, and can replace imports.
It is reported that super-large spring steel is mainly used in large-scale construction machinery, mining machinery and other equipment. The working environment is harsh and requires high stress, high frequency and long life. At present, 90% of the parts and components required for the large-scale grinding special equipment produced in China have been replaced by localization, but the customized spring steel still needs to be imported.
This time, the customized spring steel requires a maximum diameter of 100 mm, a vibration frequency of 10 Hz, and a service life of 10 years or more under a 24-hour working load. Such performance indicators are the highest requirements in the spring industry. The production process is very demanding.
To this end, the research on spring materials is carried out around key directions such as spring structure design, material selection, and force requirements. The R&D personnel have overcome technical bottlenecks such as high hardenability and uniformity of cross-sectional structure hardness of super-large spring steel, and adopted an economical component design and process route to complete the production and delivery of this high-end spring material.
