Field welding

1. During site installation and positioning, arcing on steel beam members shall not be arbitrarily initiated; temporary construction accessories shall not be arbitrarily welded on steel beams; steel beams shall not be used as grounding for general electric welding on site; knocking on all parts of steel beam members is not allowed . It must be clearly stipulated that as an operational discipline, it should be strictly implemented; if the above regulations are violated, on-site non-destructive testing should be carried out and corresponding treatment should be carried out.

 

2. The accessories used for hoisting should be cut off after the steel beam on site is completed,

generally divided into two incisions, the first incision is used for preheating, and the second incision is completely cut off. After all lifting attachments are cut, sand them with a grinding wheel. The remaining height of the lifting attachment after cutting should not exceed 20mm, preferably 10mm~5mm, and it is strictly forbidden to damage the parts during cutting.

 

3. On-site welding should have wind and rain protection measures and safety covers to prevent welding

from affecting the environment and traffic. All welded joints should be covered. Welding is not allowed on rainy days (except in beams). Under construction conditions, all exposed components are not allowed to use C02 gas shielded welding, and a windshield should be added during welding. When CO2 gas shielded welding is used in the beam, ventilation protection safety measures must be taken.

 

4. All through welding holes and temporary process holes on the structural shell shall be closed after

the corresponding welding installation is completed.
