Hegang-Posco joint venture project started

Quanzhou Minguang Ironmaking No. 1 blast furnace was ignited and opened
On January 6, Quanzhou Minguang Ironmaking No. 1 blast furnace was ignited, marking the successful completion of the first round of annual maintenance in 2022. On December 22, 2021, the iron smelting plant shut down the No. 1 blast furnace and carried out a half-month intermediate repair work. It mainly completed the replacement and spraying of the 15-layer cooling stave of the furnace body, the treatment of gas leakage at the base of the furnace, and the overall maintenance of the main ditch. Pouring and other auxiliary systems include repairing the high temperature of the hot blast stove body of No. 2 and No. 3 hot blast stoves, and replacing the grid bricks of No. 3 hot blast stoves. Dagang relocation and upgrading project started

The whole furnace condition restoration work was carried out according to the plan, and realized 1.3h gas introduction, 3.5h molten iron tap, 21.5h full tuyere opening, 16h full air operation, 12h coal injection, 18h oxygen enrichment, 36h double iron production, and furnace opening.
