Introduction of Q690D steel plate

Q690D steel plate belongs to low-alloy high-strength structural steel plate. Q stands for yield point. 690 means that the strength unit of the steel plate is also the yield unit Mpa, which means that the steel plate can bear the yield value within 690Mpa, and the steel plate will be deformed and damaged if it exceeds this point. D=represents the grade of the steel plate.

Q690 is divided into 3 levels: Q690C is 0-degree impact test, Q690D is 20-degree low-temperature impact test, and Q690E= is 40-degree low-temperature impact test.

The implementation standard of Q690D steel plate is the special technical condition of GB/T1591-2008. Q690D steel plate is delivered by normalizing by default, and can also be normalized + tempered, normalized + quenched, cut to length, controlled rolling and other processes according to different needs.

Q690D low-alloy high-strength structural steel can be used in buildings, bridges, ships, vehicles, pressure vessels and other structures.
