How to improve the properties of weathering steel?

Weather-resistant steel (weathering steel) is similar to ordinary weather-resistant steel in that the surface layer creates a high-density air oxide film after contact with the air, thereby preventing further air oxidation of the air and rural grassroots. The weathering plate basically improves the welding and welding characteristics of stainless steel plates in weathering steel. It is important to understand that in the application of weathering steel, if you want to make full use of its excellent welding characteristics, you must also use some characteristics to improve welding. What characteristics should be used to improve the properties of weathering steel?
   1. Adopt partial alkali low hydrogen welding wire and flux. Alkali low hydrogen type welding wire and flux butt welding seam have low hydrogen content, flue gas desulfurization, good dephosphorization characteristics and high fracture toughness. Before application, it needs to be air-dried at 350-420 degrees Celsius for 1-2 hours. The purpose is to reasonably remove the moisture in it, thereby reducing the oxygen content of the butt weld and reducing the cold cracking tendency of the joint.
   2. Welding accessories must be checked before passing the test. No super-strong check is required to prevent excessive assembled ground stress.
  3. Arrange the welding sequence scientifically. The standard is to make most of the welding as possible as possible under the standard of lower bending stiffness, further reducing residual stress.

   4. Heating before welding, slow cooling after welding or tempering treatment. Heating before welding is generally a key processing countermeasure to avoid cold cracks in high-strength steel welding. Post-weld slow cooling or quenching and tempering treatment can make the hydrogen diffused out sufficiently, reduce the internal stress of electric welding, improve the mechanism, reduce the hardening force, and then reduce the tendency of electric welding cold cracking. Welding of high-toughness weathering steel is generally not required to adopt processing techniques such as heating and slow cooling after welding.
