35CrMnSiA alloy steel plate has good comprehensive mechanical properties, high strength, enough toughness, hardenability and welding ability (preheat), and good processing formability after heat treatment. But the corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance of 35CrMnSiA alloy steel plate is low. Therefore, 35CrMnSiA alloy steel plates are usually used after low temperature tempering or equal temperature quenching.

Mechanical properties range of 35CrMnSiA alloy steel plate:
1) The mechanical properties of steel plates delivered in annealed state shall be in accordance with the provisions of the table below.
2) The steel plates delivered in normalizing state, under the condition of elongation comply with the table, the upper limit of tensile strength is allowed to be increased by 50Mpa.
3) The steel plates with thickness above 20mm, when the thickness is increased by 1mm, the elongation is allowed to lower by 0.25% (absolute value) than that of the table, but it should not exceed 2% (absolute value).
