EN 10225 applies to steels for offshore structures, designed to operate in the offshore sector but not to steels supplied for the fabrication of subsea pipelines, risers, process equipment, process piping, and other utilities. Oil and offshore platform steel plate S460G2+M owned the minimum yield strength at 460 Mpa, and the tensile strength is within 540-700 Mpa. TMCP heat treatment is compulsory for S460G2+M steel plates for any thickness when rolling the Steel S460g2+M.
