Cutting process and application range of SA283 Grade A/B/C/D steel plate

Production process: primary refining→LF refining→VD treatment→continuous casting (die casting)→cleaning, heating→rolling→(stacking)→surface inspection→batching→flaw detection→heat treatment→cutting and sampling→performance inspection

Cutting process: After the factory inspection of SA283 Grade A/B/C/D steel plates, the performance indicators meet the requirements and then proceed according to the cutting process. Cutting processing and drawing blanking are available. Generally, when the thickness of the steel plate is not greater than 20mm, CNC plasma cutting or cutting is preferred. For CNC laser cutting, if the thickness of the steel plate is greater than 30mm, CNC flame cutting is usually selected, which can control the cutting accuracy and time.

SA283 Grade A/B/C/D steel plates are suitable for riveted, bolted and welded structures of bridges and buildings. SA283 Grade A/B/C/D steel plate is general-purpose structural steel and high-quality carbon structural steel. SA283 grade c is mainly used in petroleum and petrochemical industries, chemical equipment manufacturing enterprises, power station construction, boiler and pressure vessel manufacturing and other enterprises. SA283 grade c steel plates are used to make reactors, heat exchangers, separators, spherical tanks, oil and gas tanks, liquefied gas tanks, nuclear reactor pressure shells, liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, and turbine volutes.
