In October, the steel materials export volume was 4.014 billion US dollars, a decrease of 472 million US dollars on a month on month basis, a decrease of 10.5%; a year-on-year decrease of 813 million US dollars, a decrease of 16.8%.
According to this calculation, the average price of China's steel materials exports in October was 839.3 US dollars / ton, a decrease of 2.3 US dollars / ton on a month on month basis, a decrease of 0.3%; a decrease of 38.3 US dollars / ton on a year-on-year basis, a decrease of 4.4%.
From January to October, China exported 55.087 million tons of steel materials, a year-on-year decrease of 5.8%; the cumulative export value was 45.76 billion US dollars, a year-on-year decrease of 10.0%. According to this calculation, the average price of China's steel exports in the first 10 months of 2019 is US $830.7/ton.
