ASTM-A36 belongs to the American standard carbon structural steel and is produced according to the ASTM-A36/A36M-2019 standard.

Tensile strength—400MPa-550MPa

Elongation after break—≥23%

 

ASTM-A36 Chemical Composition:

Carbon C: ≤0.25%

Silicon Si: ≤0.4%

Manganese Mn: ≤0.8-1.2%

Phosphorus P: ≤0.04%

Carbon S: ≤0.05%

Copper Cu: ≤0.2%

ASTM-A36 Steel Plate Requirements:

The steel plate is required to be free of defects such as cracks, bubbles, and scars on the surface.
The delivery state of the steel plate is to be delivered by hot rolling. The internal quality inspection of the steel plate requires ultrasonic flaw detection, which is implemented in accordance with the American flaw detection standard A578 flaw detection standard. Grade C, the surface of the steel plate is treated with anti-corrosion treatment, such as peeling, shot blasting, sand blasting, etc.
