A36 steel plate cutting

A36 steel plate is an American standard steel plate grade, which is produced according to ASME standard. The production thickness of A36 steel plate is between 8mm-400mm, and the delivery state is delivered in a hot-rolled state. A36 has a yield strength of not less than 360 MPa. It is an easy-to-cut and easy-to-weld steel plate material with stable performance and high yield strength and toughness. It is often used for cutting large parts, or for large mechanical equipment, welding structural parts, etc.

A36 steel plate is cut by flame cutting, the cutting thickness is below 400mm, the flame cutting temperature is high, and the edge performance will have a small change after cutting. The flame cutting cutting cycle is short, the precision is high, the loss is small, and it can cut ultra-wide and ultra-thick. Steel plate, flame muzzle in CNC cutting mode, precise routing, can cut square and round special-shaped parts.

A36 steel plate cutting can also be cut by laser cutting, plasma cutting, cutting thickness 15mm-30mm, cutting square, round, ring, special-shaped parts (cut according to the picture). According to the Z-direction performance standard GB/T5313 standard, the Z-direction performance is only applicable to 15mm-300mm thick steel plate materials, so flame cutting, wire cutting, and water cutting can be used for steel plates larger than 30mm Q355ND. At present, the commonly used cutting methods for steel plate cutting are flame cutting and laser cutting.
