A203 Grade B and A204 Grade B steel difference

ASTM A203 Grade B steel grade is a nickel alloy steel plate in welded pressure vessels. For this A 203 Gr B plate is max thickness in 150mm and the element of nickel is 2.25% to be used in manufacturing pressure vessel and boilers. The heat treatment requirements for all plates are presented, and all plates under ASTM A203 Grades A, B, D, and E shall be normalized as required.

ASTM A204 Grade B is a kind of Mo-alloy steel material used to fabric high temperature pressure vessels. A204 this property is based on it's Mo composition. A204 Gr B steel is similar to EN 16Mo3, DIN 15 Mo3.
