A three-dimensional transportation network from underground to sky is deeply connecting the time and space of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Underground, on April 20, the Guangzhou Metro Line 18, which has a speed of 160 kilometers per hour and the fastest speed in the Guangdong-Hong Kong Greater Bay Area, was completed. This is another important development in the rail transit network of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
With the completion and operation of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong high-speed rail and the Guangzhou-Dongguan-Shenzhen intercity railway, and the construction of the Guangzhou-Zhanjiang, Shanshan, Shenjiang, and Shenzhen-Shantou high-speed rails, the total railway mileage of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has exceeded 2,200 kilometers, and the high-speed railway mileage has exceeded 1,200. Kilometers, the urban rail transit operating mileage has exceeded 1,000 kilometers. At sea, on May 6, as the last prefabricated box girder with a length of 40 meters and a weight of 165 tons fell on the pier cover beam of No. 194 of the Land Approach Bridge of the Shenzhong Corridor, the task of erecting the box girder of the Land Approach Bridge of the Shenzhong Corridor was completed. . The Deep-Medium Corridor project is another world-class cross-sea passage cluster project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area after the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. It is also one of the most technically difficult and most complex projects in my country and the world.

With the completion of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Nansha Bridge, the construction of the Shenzhen-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Huangmao Sea Cross-sea Channel has been accelerated, and the new Hengqin Port has been opened and the main structure of the Guangdong-Macao New Channel (Qingmao Port) has been successfully completed and Shenzhen Bay has been successfully completed. The cargo inspection channel at the port realizes 24-hour customs clearance, and the geographical barriers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area are gradually eliminated.

In the air, the third-phase expansion of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is in full swing, the Shenzhen Airport expansion project is speeding up, and the Foshan New Airport site has been approved by the Civil Aviation Administration of China.

In 2020, the passenger throughput of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport will reach 43.768 million passengers, ranking first in the world. The role of civil aviation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has become increasingly prominent.
