09CuPCrNi corten steel is a Chinese weathering steel grade (ie, atmospheric corrosion resistant steel). TB/T 1979 09CuPCrNi-A steel plate is used in sulfur-containing flue gas, air preheater, economizer, boiler air preheater, to prevent near acid dew point, etc. It is commonly used as low temperature weathering steel, and has strong ability to resist low temperature corrosion.
As for 09CuPCrNiA steel chemical composition, TB/T 1979 09CuPCrNi-A plate is consist of carbon (0.06%) max, phosphorus (0.018%) max, sulphuric (0.013%) max, silicon (0.57%) max, manganese(0.74%) max, chromium(0.53%) max, vanadium(0.01%) max, molybdenum(0.01%) max, and copper (0.46%) max.
